1. Refund Eligibility and Criteria

At Curiai.io, customer satisfaction is our top priority. Refunds are provided under certain conditions, and the policy varies based on the subscription type and the timing of the refund request.

1.1 Monthly Subscription

  • A full refund is available if requested within 7 days of the subscription start date (payment date).
  • No refund is available after the 7-day period has passed.

1.2 Annual Subscription

  • A full refund is available if requested within 30 days of the subscription start date (payment date).
  • After 30 days, a prorated refund will be issued for the remaining period. However, standard charges apply for the used period.
  • If the annual subscription was purchased as part of a promotion or at a discounted rate, the refund amount may be adjusted accordingly.

2. How to Request a Refund

If you wish to request a refund, follow the steps below:

2.1 Submitting a Refund Request

  • Email Curiai.io customer support at join@curiai.io with your refund request.
  • Include the following information in your email:
    • User name and email address (used at the time of subscription)
    • Subscription start date and payment details (payment date, payment method, billed amount)
    • Reason for refund request (please be as detailed as possible)

2.2 Review and Approval

  • The support team will review your request and notify you of the outcome within 5 business days.
  • If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method.
  • Refund processing may take 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider or card issuer’s policy.

3. Partial Refunds and Service-Related Refunds

If a service issue caused by Curiai.io prevents normal use, customers may be eligible for a partial refund or service credit.

3.1 Refunds Due to Service Issues

You may request a refund in the following cases:

  • Service is unusable due to major bugs or technical issues.
  • Duplicate or erroneous payments occurred.
  • Major features were removed or the service was discontinued without prior notice.

3.2 Partial Refund Conditions

  • If the service is unusable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to technical issues, a refund will be issued for that duration.
  • If the issue is determined to be the company's fault, additional compensation in the form of service credits (free usage) may be provided.

4. Refund Exceptions (Non-Refundable Conditions)

Refunds may not be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Charges incurred after the free trial period ends and automatic billing occurs.
  • Purchases made through promotions, discount codes, or bundles may have refund restrictions.
  • Charges resulting from failure to cancel a subscription are not eligible for refund.
  • Refunds are not provided for accounts suspended or banned due to violations of service terms.
  • Refunds may be denied if abusive behavior (e.g., repeated subscription and refund requests) is detected.

5. Subscription Cancellation and Auto-Renewal

Separate from refund requests, users can cancel subscriptions at any time.

5.1 How to Cancel a Subscription

  • Log into the Curiai.io website → Account Settings → Manage Subscription → Click Cancel Subscription,
  • or Contact customer support via email to request cancellation.

5.2 Auto-Renewal Policy

  • You must cancel at least 24 hours before the subscription ends to prevent auto-renewal.
  • Payments already made are processed according to this refund policy.

6. Policy Changes

Curiai.io may revise the refund policy based on service operations or legal requirements.

  • In case of changes, existing subscribers will be notified via email at least 7 days in advance.
  • The updated policy will be posted on the website and will apply to new payments made after the effective date.
